Nikki C. Swayne, Attorney

Nikki C. Swayne joined Abt Swayne Law in 2017, where she served as the associate attorney until partnering with David in 2018. Her primary focus area is municipal law. She is Vernon County’s corporation counsel and serves many other local municipality clients, as well.

Nikki grew up in rural Ohio. She attended Kenyon College, graduating magna cum laude in 2004; and, received her Juris Doctorate from University of Wisconsin Law School in 2008. Nikki is active in the community; she has served as municipal judge for our local courts and as a board member of the Viroqua Hills Golf Course. In her free time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and anything outdoors…camping, hiking, bike riding, cross country skiing.

Nikki has been practicing law since 2008. She practiced in Alaska for five years, where she gained substantial trial experience, having tried 24 jury trials before returning to Wisconsin where she resumed her practice of law. 

Nikki considers Vernon County to be her home. She is grateful for the opportunity to represent her fellow community members through her legal practice.
